Universal Studios in Orlando to re-open Friday 5 June
Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida announced today that the resort will re-open on Friday 5th June. It’s welcome news to the resort’s legion of fans with a number posting they intend to visit as soon as possible, despite the United States recording one of the highest COVID-19 infection and death rates in the world. The theme park is home to a number of Harry Potter themed attractions including Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, the Hogwarts Express, Hogwarts Castle and the recently opened Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. The first official teaser trailer for the new Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells mobile game has landed! Zynga Inc., a global leader in interactive entertainment – with official licensing from Warner Bros. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Melbourne Suspension Extended
The suspension of performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre will be extended for another month to the end of June. The producers made the announcement today in line with the latest government advice to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Performances prior to 3 June had previously been postponed, with producers delaying a decision on the rest of June until now. Tickets for performances between Wednesday 3rd June and Sunday 28th June will be automatically moved to an alternative date from Wednesday 25 November onwards, with the same seating allocation originally booked.
