“Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery” celebrates 64,000 years on its second birthday

Do you play Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery? Did you know that, since the game was launched two years ago, you and your fellow players have logged 64,000 years of game play?

To mark the second anniversary of the popular mobile game, Jam City – the game’s developer – shared that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players logged a staggering 35 billion minutes of gameplay. They have also participated in over 50 million Quidditch matches, completed 2.1 million OWL exams and cast over two billion spells! Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are the most popular houses (take THAT Slytherin) and the Niffler (from the Fantastic Beasts franchise) is the best-loved magical creature (we feel bad for Dobby).

The game is renowned for its different outfits and customisable student characters, to celebrate the game’s success, you are invited to take part in a Hogwarts Mystery design competition.

Simply design an outfit that encompasses all four of the Hogwarts houses. The winning design will be featured in the game for all to wear. To find out how to get involved, check out Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery on Instagram!

Gamers at level seven or higher may have already spotted a brand new feature: The Knight Bus! It can whisk you away to a Fortress at Hogwarts Castle where some new challenges await you.
