Step into an enchanted world and unlock the mysteries hidden within the art of alchemy! Join our Potions Class where witches and wizards of all ages will craft their very own Revealing Potion, a brew that will unveil hidden messages in the most extraordinary way.
In this hands-on, magical class, students will begin by learning the ancient art of writing with invisible ink. With a flick of the quill and a swirl of magic, they will etch their own secret messages onto parchment—messages that only the most skilled potion-makers will be able to uncover.
Brew the revealing potion
Once their enchanted scrolls are complete, it’s time for the real magic to begin! Under the guidance of our skilled Potions Master, students will learn the delicate and precise ingredients required to concoct their very own Revealing Potion. When carefully applied to the invisible ink, the hidden words will emerge from the parchment like a burst of radiant light. It’s a true moment of awe and wonder as the secrets of the ink are revealed before their eyes.
Solve the hidden riddle!
But the magic doesn’t stop there! Another message holds the key to a hidden riddle. When combined with their classmates’ magical creations, these secret notes will come together to unlock an enchanted puzzle. In a thrilling, interactive finale, students will need to collaborate to solve the riddle and uncover the final mystery. The clock is ticking, and only by working together can they reveal the ultimate truth!
Timing and Duration
All our holiday classes last for 40-60 minutes, depending on the size of the class and the age of the participants. You should aim to arrive ten minutes before the scheduled start time of the class.

Age Restrictions and Adult Supervision
- For every participant 10 years or younger, a parent or adult guardian must be present in the room to supervise.
- A parent/guardian may supervise more than one child.
- The parent/guardian does not need to pay nor participate in the session beyond their supervisory role.
We encourage parents/guardians/adults to join the class by booking a spot as our classes are loads of fun for the whole family and designed to offer a chance to enjoy the holidays together. After all, you may have to be there in a supervisory capacity anyway so why not make some magic?
Non-paying adult supervisors are there to assist if required so must be engaged and ready to do so at any moment. Non-paying spectators are welcome only if there is space in the room. You should check this with the Quizzic Alley team on the day. Team member decisions regarding room capacity and who is permitted to be in the room are final. Only those who book and pay will be given the equipment and tools required to complete the class. Any non-paying people in the room are either spectators or supervisors.
We understand our requirement for adult supervision may be inconvenient for some but we must consider our risk profile and the comfort of all our customers. After six years of conducting parties, workshops and classes, we know that even the most angelic kids can become fiery dragons or naughty pixies when mum or dad is not around!
To keep things simple for our marvellous Professors and to ensure everyone’s safety and sanity, we have set a global age policy for all our classes, to wit: for every participant ten years or younger, a parent or adult guardian must be present in the room to supervise. A parent/guardian may supervise more than one child and does not need to pay nor participate in the session beyond their supervisory role. Again, we encourage you to pay and participate because it is so much more fun for everyone when you do!
