These Terms & Conditions relate to products purchased onine or in one of our stores. Please read them in their entirety. By purchasing a product at Quizzic Alley™️ you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Quizzic Alley™️ reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Our owls will deliver anywhere in Australia. We are working on setting up shipping to New Zealand and select countries in south east Asia. All parcels are sent via Australia Post from our store in Canberra. Shipping may be delayed to Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Tasmania, regional areas and to isolated areas of Australia. Please check with Australia Post for shipping times to where you live.
Shipping is completely free for orders over $100 anywhere in Australia. Orders of $100 and below are charged a flat fee of $12.00. Shipping times may vary according to your location and heavy or large items may be subject to an additional shipping fee. Express Post is available for an extra fee.
At Quizzic Alley we want you to be delighted with your magical purchase. If you’re not, you can return any item for exchange, a refund or a gift voucher. Items must be returned within 60 days from the date of purchase in as-new condition with all labels and packaging intact. Items that have been used, washed or damaged in any way will not be accepted.
Sale items must be returned within 10 days for either an exchange or store credit in the form of a gift voucher. Full refunds do not apply to sale items.
If a collectable product, where intact packaging is integral to the value, arrives with damaged packaging, please report it via email to magic@quizzicalley.com, with supporting photographs, within 48 hours and return as above.
Once we receive your email or the returned item has arrived at Quizzic Alley, a member of the team will make contact with you within 48 hours or on our next normal weekday opening day (noting the Quizzic Alley store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Returning a product is much easier than conjuring a Patronus
- Email us at magic@quizzicalley.com with your name, address and phone number and the reason why you would like to return the item. It also helps to include information about the package, particularly the date on which you sent it.
- Send the goods back to Quizzic Alley. Owls are welcome at Quizzic Alley as are Australia Post employees and couriers.
Sending the item to Quizzic Alley
Any costs associated with returning the item to Quizzic Alley are your responsibility. We recommend that returns are sent via registered post or a freight system that offers a tracking service as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
In some circumstances we are happy to cover the cost of returns. These reasons may include:
- Faulty goods
- Product not as advertised
- Item/s is a genuine collectable and the item or packaging has been damaged during shipping
- We sent the wrong product or the right product in the wrong size
If you think any of the above apply, simply contact our team at magic@quizzicalley.com and we will provide a mechanism for the return of the item.

Items that cannot be returned
Under consumer protection laws there are several exceptions on the return of products. Earrings, underwear and undergarments such as boxer shorts, briefs, sports bras and long johns cannot be exchanged due to health and hygiene regulations.
Returning products to a store
You may return the goods to a physical outlet of Quizzic Alley but please first follow the process above for notifying us of the reasons for the return.

Quizzic Alley™️ Brews & Bubbles Potions Class
Please read these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. By booking a Brews & Bubbles Potions Class at Quizzic Alley™️ you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Quizzic Alley™️ reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time.
A non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure the booking. This allows us to buy supplies, order any food and arrange staff to host your party.
You are required to pay any balance (including any extras) on the day of the party. The account must be settled immediately after the potions class, if not before.
You may change the date of your booking at any time up to 14 days prior to the day of the party and any monies paid will be applied to the new date.
If you need to cancel your booking within 14 days of the party, a $100 cancellation fee will be retained. However, if we find another taker for that timeslot, we will happily refund any monies paid. If you fail to turn up for your party for whatever reason, any funds paid will be forfeited. Cakes cancelled within 14 days of the party must be paid for in full.
A member of the Quizzic Alley team will call you at least one week prior to your party to confirm numbers and final arrangements and to answer any questions you have. Please reply to emails and respond to messages promptly so that we can be prepared for your group.
As we have seen with the COVID-19 pandemic, lockdowns and changes to capacity can occur. If our store is forced to close, we will contact all party pre-bookings via email. Please do not call us. In this instance we generally offer as many postponements as required or store credits to the value of your deposit. Once our store is able to re-open, capacity in our potions classroom may be reduced. Again, we will contact you via email.
The base fee for our birthday parties / potions classes is calculated on ten people including the guest of honour but not including any supervising adults. Additional people over ten in number are charged at a per head rate. Bookings with fewer than ten people will be charged the full base fee.
Every paying guest receives a complimentary QBrew which is a carbonated, non-alcoholic beverage. There is complimentary tap water in the room for all guests.
The booking party may choose from a selection of optional extras at additional cost, including a cake and party wands for each paying guest. Cakes cancelled with 14 days of the party must be paid for. If ordered, wands will be gifted to every paying guest present and must all be paid for on the day of the party. Additional wands are generally available for purchase for any individuals unable to attend the party.
Toasted sandwiches from Melted next door can be ordered in advance on the day but are not included in Quizzic Alley’s offerings.
Prohibited foods
You are welcome to bring your own cake and party food. We do not permit hot food and have no facilities for re-heating food. Do not bring pastry based food, eg. sausage rolls and pies. We also have a very small fridge so it is not possible to store cold cakes, eg. ice cream cakes.
Supervision of guests
The supervising parent/adult is solely responsible for supervising the consumption of food and beverages and for the conduct and behaviour of attendees while celebrations, eating and drinking are under way. Plates and eating utensils are available for hire but the supervising parent/guardian may bring their own. There are glasses in the room for QBrew and water. We ask that you do not bring additional beverages.
The throwing of food and food fights is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of this bahaviour will incur a cleaning fee. You may also be charged a cleaning fee in the event of prohibited foods creating a mess or if food mess is excessive.
Damage to property (whether accidental or not) including fixures and furniture must be paid by the supervising parent/guardian.
Cleaning fee
A cleaning fee starting at $50 may be charged for the above incidents or infringements. An additional fee may be charged in the event of permanent damage to furniture, infrastructure, fixtures or equipment.
We know a child’s birthday party or similar celebration can be stressful for parents. Please understand that our team is also under a lot of pressure to quickly engage with the children, to keep them entertained and to deliver a magical experience they will remember forever. When parents and professors work together, magic really does happen. Please treat our staff with kindness and respect at all times. Listen actively, speak courteously, and understand that they are here to assist you and you them. Your patience is appreciated and remember, a smile and a thank you go a long way in creating a positive experience for everyone.
Aggression or threats of any type, including verbal, directed at our staff, other customers or the children will not be tolerated. Anyone who exhibits such behaviour will be asked to leave and the police may be called.
Any patron who behaves inapropriately or is perceived by a team member to be behaving inappropriately may be removed from the premises at any time. If the event is disrupted no refund or reschedule will be offered.
The classroom is already decorated so please do not bring wall decorations, party sprinkles, confetti, streamers, party poppers, pinatas, balloons or other party decorations.
A $50 cleaning fee may be charged if our staff are required to clean up a mess as a result of any of the above or similar.
You are welcome to bring small decorations for the table.
Quizzic Alley™️ does not have space to accommodate guests outside of their allocated time so please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your booking.
To enjoy the full experience we ask that all guests arrive on time. We can delay the start for a few minutes but the class will commence without late comers if necessary.
Those arriving late can join the class and, although we will do our best to catch them up, they may miss out on activities.
Late commencement due to late arrivals will result in a shorter class and classes/bookings cannot be rescheduled nor extra time made available for no-shows.
If you are unsatisfied with your experience, we encourage you to get in touch with our team via email. Out of respect for our staff and our business, we ask that you email us before posting on social media.
Requests for a refund or a reschedule will only be considered after the event upon receipt of an email from the parent/guardian concerned and by management in consultation with team members. Decisions made will be final.
During the course of government mandated restrictions and prohibitions due to the Covid19 Pandemic or other pandemic, Quizzic Alley™️ will operate entirely within the adjusting guidelines at all times, in order to provide a safe environment for customers, staff and for the wellbeing of the wider community.
In making a booking or entering the venue, all customers agree to respect and act within the guidelines at all times. Infringement of any rules or guidelines could result in the reservation and/or experience being terminated at any time without a refund.
If an attendee, parent/guardian or associated person appears to be unwell with Covid-related symptoms they may be asked to leave the premises or refused entry. Under these circumstances your booking may be rescheduled to a later date.

The Sneaky Cauldron™️

All purchases are final and non-refundable.

The Sneaky Cauldron™️ relies on patrons to honour their booking/s or provide sufficient notice of any changes to reservations. We will send you a reminder email 48 hours prior to your booking using the email provided when you purchase your tickets. The Sneaky Cauldron™️ is not responsible for an incorrect or misspelled email provided at the time of booking.
Patrons may be required to provide proof of purchase to redeem tickets or reservations. You must bring a confirmation email or other written evidence of your booking with you. A verbal confirmation number is not acceptable and you should avoid forwarding your confirmation email or communication to external parties.
Bookings may be rescheduled if the patron establishes contact via email at least 48 hours before the start of the scheduled session. Contact made by other means, including social media, is not guaranteed to reach The Sneaky Cauldron™️ and is insufficient for rescheduling a booking. All re-booking dates and times are subject to availability. The Sneaky Cauldron™️ cannot guarantee availability.
All ticket types are available for a limited time only. The Sneaky Cauldron™️ does not occupy the premises permanently.
Magical Mixology Sessions are designed with adults in mind. Children are welcome to attend and participate and The Sneaky Cauldron™️ team will do their best to ensure they have an experience equal to their parent/guardian, but some may be less engaged.
Family-friendly sessions are offered as a non-alcoholic alternative to our main offering and are designed for families with young children in mind.
The Sneaky Cauldron™️ may offer other different sessions during the season or in the course of its tenancy, eg. themed afternoon or morning teas, trivia nights. These may include an alcoholic offering which will be specified at the time of booking.
All ticket types in all sessions entitle each ticket holder to one magical experience per purchase at the date and time specified at the time of purchase.
All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18+. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed.
Children 4 years of age or younger are free but will not be allocated their own drinks or items for potion making or any other activity. However, they are welcome to participate alongside other members of their family.
Customers who purchase tickets separately have no guarantee of being seated together. If you are linked to another group in the same booking period, please contact us via email at least 48 hours before the start of the scheduled session and we will do our best to seat your parties at the same table or as near each other as possible.
Any patron who appears intoxicated may not be admitted or may be removed from the premises at any time and no refund or reschedule will be offered.
Please treat our staff with kindness and respect at all times. Listen actively, speak courteously, and understand that they are here to assist you. Your patience is appreciated and remember, a smile and a thank you go a long way in creating a positive experience for everyone.

In purchasing a ticket to The Sneaky Cauldron™️, customers agree that they are purchasing a ticket to an experience and that any choice they make to consume alcohol on site is entirely their own. In purchasing a ticket, customers gain access to attend their chosen session within which a limited amount of alcohol is made available (unless otherwise specified by the ticket type).
If a customer chooses not to consume alcohol, a similar magical experience will still be provided to the same quality. As a result, no discounts are made available for persons not consuming alcohol.
