The Great Wizard’s Ball – you’ve been waiting for this!

Break out your wand and dust off that witches hat– The Great Wizard’s Ball is coming to Canberra.

This is your chance to get dressed up to the 9¾ and live your wildest wizarding dreams.

Quizzic Alley in Fyshwick is leaving no philosopher’s stone unturned to create a magical and immersive dining experience, complete with a three-course banquet fit for a dragon, live entertainment, a costume parade and more ravenclawesome photo opps than you can poke a wand at.

Owner of the store, Nearly Legless Mick, promises it will be a great night, full of magic and wonder.

“If you’ve been to Quizzic Alley, you will know what to expect of The Great Wizard’s Ball. I solemnly swear there will be loads of really cool, magical activities and acts. And the venue is amazing!” said Mick.

The Abbey at Gold Creek, with its huge gothic-looking organ, is the perfect setting for The Great Wizard’s Ball on Saturday 31st August where the fun starts at 7pm.

All profits from The Great Wizard’s Ball will be donated to The Smith Family’s children’s literacy program.

“A book pack for a child from an under-privileged family costs $20 and can make all the difference to their learning capabilities when they start school,” explained Mick.

Early Owl tickets are on sale now but the discounted price ends on 17th August. Book a table of eight withes, wizards and magical creatures for a further discount.

And the kids don’t miss out either. There is an afternoon-tea style family-friendly, version of The Great Wizard’s Ball from 3pm.
