Lots of fun and magical things planned THIS THURSDAY NIGHT at Harry Potter Book Night!
Join us – and thousands of other fans around the world – to celebrate the Harry Potter book series on Thursday night at our stores in Canberra and Sydney. The magic kicks off with the first session at 5pm with 90 minutes of competitions, games and craft. The second session starts at 7pm. Witches, wizards and magical creatures of all ages are welcome!
Entry is FREE but most activities are ticketed and all funds raised go to Feel the Magic who work with grieving kids. Did you know that one in 20 Australian kids will lose a parent before they turn 18? Find out more.
So, here’s some of the magical activities planned for Harry Potter Biook Night on Thursday:
Best dressed competition
Dressing up is practically mandatory and there are prizes for the best. Come regaled in your finest wizarding robes or as your favourite character. Hermione, Harry and Luna are the most popular but there are so many others. If you don’t have your costume yet, Quizzic Alley can help. Our stores in Canberra and Sydney are open 10am-5.30pm Wednesday and Thursday.
Complete your very own Almanac, all about magical you!
Go on an adventure to find out all about magical you in the wizarding world and record it all in your very own Almanac. You can also check out the newly released Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac which we are expecting delivery of any day… fingers crossed it gets here by Thursday!!!
Magical Places Quiz
Enter the quiz for your chance to win yet another prize pack from Quizzic Alley. The quiz will take you to every corner of the store, inspire you to read (or re-read the books) and test the depths of your Harry Potter knowledge.
