Owls forego sleep to deliver last-minute Christmas packages!

If you live in Canberra or Queanbeyan you may notice an increase in owl traffic during the two days before Christmas… because Quizzic Alley’s intrepid owls will be busy, personally delivering all the last-minute gifts purchased online.

To save locals precious time before Christmas and to ensure all orders arrive before Christmas Day, the popular store’s dedicated owls will forego sleep to deliver packages to customers in and around Canberra for all online orders received by 10am on Monday 23rd December.

Quizzic Alley owner, Nearly Legless Mick, said local Potterheads love the convenience of ordering online as soon as new products arrive so they don’t miss out. Then they pop into the store in Fyshwick to collect when they get a chance.

“But to save our customers some stress in the rush before Christmas, our owls will spend the few days before Christmas Eve delivering packages. Standard shipping still applies but delivery is free for all orders over $75.

He said the number of orders has grown every week since the online store was launched in August, with many interstate customers newly discovering the popular Fyshwick wizarding store.

“We get a lot of orders from interstate customers and many of them have plans to visit Canberra just so they can spend time in our store. Hopefully we’ll get to meet some of them over Christmas,” said Mick.

To be eligible for owl delivery, customers in Canberra and Queanbeyan must complete their online orders by 10am on Monday 23rd December. All online orders finalised between now and then will be delivered on either Monday or Tuesday. The Fyshwick store will be open 10am-4:00pm the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas and 10am-5.30pm on Monday 23rd and Christmas Eve.
