Director Chris Columbus calls for the release of three-hour “Philosopher’s Stone” cut
You may have missed this amongst all the 20th anniversary chatter but, in a recent interview, director Chris Columbus said he would love to see the original three-hour cut released. The longer version hasn’t been seen since Warner Bros. tested the movie way back in 2001. Easter release for Fantastic Beasts 3
The third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise finally has a name and it will open in cinemas three months earlier than planned, on April 15, 2022. “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” was initially scheduled to release on July 15 of next year, but the studio opted to move its premiere up by three months. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Melbourne Suspension Extended
The suspension of performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre will be extended for another month to the end of June. The producers made the announcement today in line with the latest government advice to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Performances prior to 3 June had previously been postponed, with producers delaying a decision on the rest of June until now. Tickets for performances between Wednesday 3rd June and Sunday 28th June will be automatically moved to an alternative date from Wednesday 25 November onwards, with the same seating allocation originally booked. “Crimes of Grindelwald” coming to Netflix
Accio the popcorn because The Crimes of Grindelwald is coming to Netflix this month. All set for its Australian Netflix debut on Friday 13th September, the flick is the second instalment in the Harry Potter spin-off series Fantastic Beasts.
