Now you can play Harry Potter: Magic Awakened in Australia
Australia has been added to the soft launch of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened which means you can finally play the game ahead of its global launch. Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a free-to-play immersive collectible card (CCG) and role-playing (RPG) game based around the Harry Potter series. Familiar characters are stylised in a new, painterly style. You play as a student at Hogwarts and duel against opposing students, building up a deck of cards that represent spells, potions, beats and more in battle. It’s curtains for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, the mobile reality game set in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World and launched with much fanfare just over two years ago in May 2019, is shutting down on 31 January 2022. Developer Niantic announced the game’s closure on the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite website a few days ago but promised players a conclusion to the narrative before the game shuts down, claiming that players, working alongside Harry and Hermione “..are now on the verge of putting an end to the Calamity”.
